REPORTING CHANGES: Information For Parents
Good afternoon Delta Parents/Guardians,
BC school districts have been asked by the Ministry of Education to share a letter to all parents from Education Minister, Michael Bernier. As part of the change in Reporting across the province, there are a few key pieces of information that we want to communicate with you, and provide some clarity into what is happening in Delta.
PLEASE FOLLOW THIS LINK: http://web.deltasd.bc.ca//files/4550__Reporting_Changes-_Information_for_Parents.pdf
If you have questions about the new curriculum, there is a link to the Ministry webpage in the letter. We also encourage you to connect with your school administrator(s) if you would like to know more about how Reporting changes will be supported in our schools.
SCHOOL FEES and DEPOSITS
If you missed the fee day your can still pay your fees and deposits at the office. Check on Parent Connect for how much you owe. Please bring a cheque or cash as we don't accept credit or debit.
Dropping of and Picking up Students at Seaquam
This is a reminder to parents about dropping off and picking up of your students. Between 8am and 4pm picking up and dropping off of students in the school parking lots IS NOT PERMITTED. This is a safety issue. If you need to drop off or pick up your student please do so on Lyon Rd or further away from the school. When driving down or parking on Lyon Rd please do not do U Turns. This is dangerous for other motorists as well as students crossing the road. Also, please observe the speed limits in school zones and be watchful of students crossing at the crosswalk.
