Welcome to Seaquam Secondary School

SCHOOL OPENING WEEK PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULE

We are thrilled to welcome our stellar Seaquam staff and students officially on Monday, September 22nd.  We know this has been a challenging time for our entire school community and trust that we will all be patient and do our best to settle into school routine as possible.  Please read the ATTACHED regarding what the first week has in store. 

 

Please note the following:

          Monday will be school photos, homeroom for all grade and assemblies only for grades 8-11.

          Students need to check timetables to see what class they have in Block G - that will be their homeroom for the week.

          It is critical that students attend homeroom every day as that is the only way that we are able to determine who is still attending.  If students are not in homeroom there is a possibility of being withdrawn from the school.

          There will not be any schedules printed out for students so it is students' responsibilities to either print out a schedule at home, store schedules in phones or write out the classes.

10:30 - 11:50       Grade 8/9 photos

12:00 - 12:15       Homeroom:  Students will report to block G class

12:20                  Grade 8/9 Assembly in the theatre

12:00 - 12:30       International photos

12:30 -   1:30       Grade 10/11 photos in the cafeteria

  1:45 -   2:00       Homeroom: Students will report to block G class

  2:05                  Grade 10 and 11 Assembly in the theatre 

  1:30 -   3:00       Grade 12 photos in the cafeteria

COURSE ISSUES

Student schedules are now available on Student and Parent Connect.  If you are requesting changes to your timetable please submit the ATTACHED FORM - at this time this is the ONLY method we are accepting regarding course changes/requests.  Please do not call the school or e-mail Admin/Counsellors with requests - fill out the form.  Counsellors will be touch by phone or email regarding your request once they have had time to review it. This is a busy time of the year for requests so please be patient.
