Hey Seahawks as you all might know that this is the month of Ramadan and a lot of you might be questioning why do Muslims fast and what is Ramadan?

Ramadan is the 9th month of the Islamic calendar observed by Muslims worldwide. It is a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community.

Fasting is the fifth pillar of Islam it’s not only about abstaining from food and drink but it also teaches self discipline, self control, patience and compassion. The fasting begins before sunrise and ends in the evening at the sunset.

Reminder students of the early dismissal on Wednesday and Thursday. Check the app for times.

Hi Everyone! Today and tomorrow will be the last days to donate your books for Operation Smile’s Book fair that will take place from April 13th to April 14th. Please take this as an opportunity to clean out the books in your home that you don’t want!  Donation boxes can be found in the center hallway upstairs and the box beside the cafeteria.  Don’t forget to also meet us on the 13th and 14th after school to buy some thrifty and entertaining books!

Congratulations to the girls soccer team for their win against South Pointe!!  The team represents players from 6 different clubs and they came together so well as a single team last night.

The next match is this Wednesday April 5th at Wade Road Park.
