Hey Seahawks! Remember the book collection? Have you selected the books you want to donate? The collection starts this week on February 15th. The boxes will be placed in the library, at the front desk, various classrooms, and near the office. The donated money will be given to Operation Smile, an organization that collects money for children to have cleft lip surgery. The consequences of cleft lip include, but are not limited to, malnourishment, ear infections and hearing loss as well as challenges with speech. This collection will last from the 15th to the 23rd of February so remember to donate whatever books you have to help less fortunate children.
