Today’s Black Brilliance info is about Dr. Alexandra Bastiany, who is a cardiologist, which means that she specializes in being a doctor that helps people with their hearts. She works at Thunder Bay Regional Health Centre. She was the first Black female Canadian Interventional Cardiologist. She speaks three languages and was born in Montreal. She has won many awards and is a role model for many Black girls and women.


Today in the Gym, the Grads will compete against the staff in indoor soccer. Come on and cheer on one of the teams. $1 gets you in.

Grade 8 and Junior Ultimate tryouts will be Wednesday March 1st and Friday March 3rd after school 3:00pm to 4:30pm, please dress for the weather.


Any students interested in joining the track and field team please come to a meeting on Thursday at lunch in the library.


Grad hill photo will be taken this Friday, March 3rd at lunchtime.  Please dress accordingly for the weather.


There will be an information meeting for the parents of all students that are interested in going to Italy during spring break of 2024. The meeting will be held through zoom on Thursday March 2nd from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The meeting will be run by the tour company that will be organizing the trip. If your mom or dad wants to attend the meeting,  please RSVP using the QR code found on the Italy trip posters around the school or in room 1416.
