What is the Highway Of Tears? The Highway Of Tears is a 725 kilometer stretch of Highway 16, between Prince George and Prince Rupert in British Columbia. 23 First Nations border this highway. Since 1969, over 40 women and girls, particularly Indigenous, have gone missing or been found murdered along this highway. The Highway Of Tears is a part of the national crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.


Hello Seaquam, we are proud to announce a new club in our school, The Faith Club. We will be hosting many Faith related celebrations and festivals throughout the year. Our goal is to teach everyone about each other’s faith. We will be having meetings every Tuesday at lunch in room 2119, Ms. Hadziavdic’s room. Have a look at many religions and their history! Come and join us on Tuesdays!


Attention all Junior Badminton players!! The second round of tryouts begin this week. Tryouts for the boys will be TODAY after school in the Big Gym from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. Please come early to help get things set up so we can start on time. Tryouts for the girls will be Wednesday after school in the Big Gym from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. If any Grade 8’s, 9’s or 10’s missed the first tryout day, make sure you come to this week’s tryouts or you may lose your chance to make the team. If you have any questions or concerns, please talk to Mr. Plesh in the PE office.


Grade 8 and 9 ultimate frisbee tryouts will be Wednesday march 6 and Friday March 8 on the lower back field from 3:00-4:30pm.
