Grade 12 Consent Forms – to be signed and submitted when purchasing the Grad Dinner & Dance tickets
Notice to Grads 2019
If you are planning on attending the Commencement Ceremony, you will need to:
1. Order your gown (you must be wearing a gown to be part of the ceremony) – done through the online form (see below)
2. Write a short comment that will be read as you cross the stage – also online (see below)
Regarding tickets, each graduate is eligible to receive two complimentary tickets for your guests (students wearing a gown do not need one). These tickets will be distributed in conjunction with dinner and dance tickets and table sign up, in early March 2019.
The deadline to order gowns and pick up complimentary tickets is Friday, May 17, 2019. A gown order needs to be placed by this date and any remaining tickets will be redistributed to families requesting extra tickets after this date.
Starting Tuesday, May 21, up to an additional four tickets can be purchased for $5 each. After Monday, June 10, all remaining tickets, if any are available, will then be sold. All additional tickets will be sold on a first-come basis.

Grad Games sign up
If you want to participate in the second annual Grads vs Staff games please fill out the following form.
We are trying to get as many different grads playing as possible. Please only fill out this form once. Students must be in good standing in order to participate, ie not in trouble with the office, have regular attendance and good relations with staff.

On June 22nd, the grade 12 students will be celebrating the completion of their public education careers. The day will consist of a Red Carpet event, then a Dinner & Dance at the Sheraton Wall Center and a Dry Grad event at the North Delta Recreation Center organized by the Parent Dry Grade Committee. Students will be transported to the Wall Center for the Dinner & Dance event from Seaquam in luxury busses. We ask that the 2 forms below be completed and signed off, then submitted when purchasing the Grad Dinner & Dance tickets. The Grad Dinner & Dance tickets will be sold from March 4th to March 8th and tickets will be $175.00. Cheques can be made out to Seaquam Secondary School. June 20, 2019 – Commencement at South Delta Baptist Church, 1988 56 Street, Delta.
Doors open at 6:30pm, Commencement starts at 7:00pm
Gown and hat costs are part of the Grad Fee and will be distributed in the first 2 weeks of June. Our graduating students will be able to keep their gowns and hats to allow for more opportunities for families to take photos to commemorate the events.
Each graduating student will receive two complimentary tickets. Additional tickets may be available for a $5.00 fee based on space at the venue. If students are not going to use their tickets, we ask them to inform Mr. Wong.
June 22, 2019 – Grad Dinner and Dance (This is a school sponsored event)
Red Carpet and Reception at Seaquam – Red Carpet (front of the school)
– Reception at Seaquam immediately after the Red Carpet.
This year, there will be no cost to families to attend.
Students will be transported from Seaquam to the Wall Centre for their Dinner and Dance by bus, with stops along the way for photo opportunities.
June 22nd – Grad dinner and dance 6:00 – 10:00 pm – Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel downtown (1088 Burrard Street). The dinner is for Grads only – No parents or other guests. This is a school sponsored event.
Students will be charged $175.00 and tickets will be sold March 4 to 8.
Specific times for the Saturday events will be published later in the school year.
Dry Grad Committee Ticket Information
Dry Grad (June 22 to 23, 2019) – North Delta Rec Centre – 11415 84 Avenue (approximately 10:30 pm to 4:00 am).
Dry grad tickets are $50.00
Tickets for Dry Grad will be handed out when you board the bus to dinner on June 22nd .
