Pinewood Welcomes Grads

Pinewood is inviting Seaquam grade 12’s who completed grade 7 in 2020 to come for a visit at Pinewood:

What: Pinewood Panthers “Clap Out” Grade 12 Seaquam Graduates who attended Pinewood 2020 (currents students and staff will stand and clap for grade 12’s as they walk their old hallways)

When: Wed June 25 start at 1:15-2pm. Meet in Pinewood Gym

Wear: Caps and Gown 

Grad Walk at Sunshine Hills Elementary

Sunshine Hill would like to invite all grads that went to Sunshine Hills to come in their Cap and Gowns to Sunshine Hills for an event.  The time and date are: Monday, June 23 at 1:30 pm.   This is an opportunity for your elementary teachers and school to celebrate your achievement of graduating from high school. 

Grad Walk at Cougar Canyon Elementary

11:40am on Tuesday, June 24th.  Please encourage all graduating Cougar Canyon/Seaquam students to meet outside the front door of the school.  If you could please invite all Grade 12 Students who went to Cougar Canyon,

Heath Grad Walk

Time: Monday, June 23 at 9:45 am.  Meet outside the front doors of the school for the principal to receive you.  Bring your Cap and Gown.

Last night Seaquam hosted a Grade 12 parent night.  Thanks to everyone that was able to come.  If you missed it attached are two slide decks that were shared with those present.  Dry Grad also had a presentation.  They are well underway organizing and amazing Dry Grad night for Grads.  They are looking for volunteers, leaders and donations.  If you can help out please contact them at seaquamdrygrad2025@gmail.com

Dry Grad Committee Meeting

What is Dry Grad?

Dry Grad is an event which provides students with a safe, drug and alcohol-free environment to celebrate their graduation. It is a fully supervised fun event, sponsored by the Parents, where the grads can party with their friends, be entertained and participate in a fun-filled, action-packed night of celebration.

When is it?

Grads will be taken from the hotel to the Rec Centre by bus with Grade 11 Parent chaperones and from then on will be the Grad Committees responsibility with help from current Grade 11 parents who will supervise the Dry Grad overnight .

The Dry Grad will begin at 10.30pm and will end at 4am ( times to be confirmed )
There are no in and out privileges at the Dry Grad . We have security organized and parents will be called to collect any Grad who is under the influence of alcohol or anything else . Obviously we trust this will not be necessary.

At the end Grads must be picked up by a parent or another Grads parent. No one will be allowed to leave alone. Again this is to ensure you get home safely.

Who is organizing this event?

PARENTS/FAMILIES of the graduating class are the primary organizers however they welcome volunteers from the Grade 11 class as well. There are a number of committees who still need volunteers and there is definitely a job that suits every parent.

Thursday, October 3, 4:15 – 10:15 pm, Cost of $130
• Ticket sales – September 23 – 27, MAX 250 tickets – purchased through parent connect

• Transportation on luxury buses, dinner and dancing, Semi Formal dress please
• To buy a ticket you must:
• Be a student in good standing
• Have paid off all outstanding previous years fees
• Have your parent check off the Grad Code of Conduct form on Parent connect
